Plenary session addressed by Professor John Keane during the Symposium : “Democracy: Contested Futures”
23 March 2004 at the Centre for Democracy Studies, Oxford Brookes University. The Centre ran a one-day symposium which looked at some the contemporary challenges and issues related to democracy and democratic theory.
